Review of The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett

The story develops in the town of Mallard. It is a town for light-skinned black people. The generations of Mallard ensures that the new generation is even lighter. The plot is twinned around the twin girls of a lynched father from Mallard Desiree and Stella. The story follows the lives of the twins from 1960 to 1990, through the metamorphosis that takes place in their lives, haps , mishaps , love , glee and sorrow. 

One of the best books I've ever read. I could give it a 5/5.
